WHO WE ARE
The Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students, M.A.P.S., at UC Davis is an organization designed to help minoritized pre-medical students matriculate into health professional schools.

M.A.P.S. is about P.R.I.D.E.: PERSEVERANCE in Academic Achievement, RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION of Future Minority Physicians, INTENSITY of Advocacy and Leadership, DEDICATION to Service and Humanity, and ENTHUSIASM for the cause.
WHAT WE DO
We are committed to supporting future under-represented minority health students, addressing the needs of underserved communities, and increasing the number of clinically excellent, culturally competent, and socially conscious physicians.
We offer programs providing insight into the health field, mentorship opportunities with UC Davis medical students (specifically SNMA), and valuable volunteer experience.

The MAPS Board has the important and honorable role of ensuring that the goals and mission statement of the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students are achieved. We work closely with health professionals, advisors, mentors, medical students, and community members in order to accomplish these goals.
